Spring Days!

Hi, everyone! I’m sure you all have felt the shift in the weather the past week. Congratulations, we have made it to spring finally! Remember to sign up for Student 9s to get discount Red Sox tickets!
While the sun stays out longer, students across campus are gearing up for finals. I for one find my to-do list more than anxiety inducing. For both professors and students, this is a time of stress and it’s extremely important we all take care of ourselves while we finish the semester strong.
- Talk to your friends and classmates! Forming study groups or even getting an after-class coffee to decompress is a great way to get through this together.
- Make a list! Listing what I need to do always helps me compartmentalize what I need to do. Even scheduling out every day for different projects will help you manage time.
- Take breaks! Every once and a while, stand up and stretch and DRINK WATER. This semester, I have fallen into the energy drink/coffee/soda black hole and it is not good!
- Remember that others are going through stressful times too, including professors and faculty! Be kind to those around you!
- Ask your professor! They want to help you! Go to an office hour or send an email, even if you feel like a bother.
- Realize that the other side is so close! Look how far you have come!
