Commencement Reminders

Hello everybody! As Commencement on May 16th is just around the corner, I thought it would be fruitful for you as well as me to go over some logistics. 

1. Ceremony starts at 9am, but graduating students start lining up at MGM Music Hall at 7:45-8:00 AM. During the week of May 12, you will be receiving a STAGEPASS email with your ticket and lineup information. 
2. Doors to MGM open to guests at 8:00 AM. There is no assigned seating so tell your party to get there early! 
3. Ceremony begins at 9:00 AM 
4. Regalia is available to order through Oak Hall until April 22nd! 
5. To claim guest tickets, you must log into your “Tassel” account and individually email the tickets to corresponding guests. There is a waitlist to enter if you desire more than 5 tickets. 
6. MGM has a clear bag policy and outside food and beverages are not allowed. 
7. Simmons has limited parking for those who are driving, but the parking garage will be open for $35. Parking reservations are required. 
8. Diplomas will be available to pick up in the University Common Grounds until 5pm on May 16th or at the One Stop Office from May 19th to 30th during business hours. Photo ID is required. Diplomas that are not picked up will be mailed to graduates in early June. 
9. Decorating your caps is encouraged!
